Dear Sue and family,
I was so fortunate to get to know your mother and grandmother in her home on Delia. I admire her very much for many reasons. Chiefly, Lois was a hard worker and very positive. It was astounding to me that she could tend her great, great granddaughter a couple of days a week in her late 80’s. (Which was the joy of her life). The only thing that slowed her down was the terrible broken ankle she suffered. Lois loved having all of you over for celebrations and I could tell she knew how crazy about her you all were. Sue, you and Karen were so loving and solicitous toward your mother and I’m sure you gave her nothing but love these past months. I’m sorry for your loss. She is truly a remarkable woman.
