Obituary of Arnold Robert Johnson

Arnold Robert Johnson passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2019. Known to all as “Bob” he is survived by his loving wife Brooke, the love of his life for 33 years and their 3 amazing daughters Amanda (Mike) Jenn (Carter) and Lexie (Nik) He was and always will be remembered as Grandpa to 5 pretty great kiddos Landin (11) Paisli (10) Tyedin (7) Bridger (7) and Tayzlin (6) Bob enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing pool (which he was damn good at thanks to his killer math skills), fishing, watching NASCAR and football on Sundays. Football Sunday won’t be the same without him here. Calling the penalty before the flag was even thrown. Maybe he and grandma can guide Elway in the right direction so next season we have a chance at being decent. You have sideline tickets to all the games now dad. As we grieve this great loss, we find comfort in imagining he is fishing with his dad at “the hole” and catching up on the 45 years they’ve missed. Dad had a treasured fishing hole in Park City. He showed few people where it was and even had a letter from the original owner that he had permission to fish there at anytime. Well Dad, now you have a true lifetime pass to the hole. Hopefully you and Bryan can finally reminisce on the pier and drink a beer. We will miss his love, guidance, sarcastic nature and quick wit. He truly was our comedian. We will be telling his jokes for years to come (not nearly as great as he did, of course) We feel we need to wrap this up in true Bob fashion with “that’s a big fuck no!” We love you and miss you so much already. At this time, there will not be any services. We will be planning a celebration of life for a later date.
