Dad, how has it been a week?! I feel like every day gets harder. I’m waiting for a call to hear your voice. Christmas was hard and I just don’t want to believe this is how life is. We all need sign that you are okay and at peace. We miss you. This emptiness hurts so much. We love you! ♥️

Dad, these past few days have been really hard. I love you and miss you more than I ever thought was possible to miss someone. Life isn’t going to be the same without you. I’m going to miss your calls, hugs, jokes and literally everything about you. I’ve been listening to your favorite songs a lot lately. Picturing you playing the piano across the fireplace or tapping your fingers on your blue chair while listening to Kenny Chesney. Or any song at that. I’ll never forget (and I know you won’t because we talked about it not to long ago.) when we went fishing with Eva and you said “look at the dead bird.” And I looked out the window of your white truck and looked up. You always thought that was so funny. Trying to learn how to drive a manual now and I’ll I can hear is “don’t ride the clutch!” I love you dad, forever and always!

Through the 20+ years of knowing Bob, Brooke and the girls I got to know the ups and downs, the sarcasm and smiles, and sadly the tears.
I’ll miss the golf stories, the banter between us, being yelled at for dancing to Michael Jackson too loud with Brooke and the girls in the next room over and being fortunate enough to play football out on the road in front of the house -with Bob playing QB for both teams because he wasn’t about to run lol, being teased about “choose the right key for the Camaro and you can drive it” (totally chose the right key but he never coughed them up lol). Bob was always a jokester and always took a liking to me for which I was grateful.. We had a great bond that I will cherish forever.
My heart is broken for the girls and their loss. I wish I knew the right things to say to ease their heartbreak but unfortunately no one does in these situations. I just hope they know I’m here for them and as always I have a big hug for them. I love you all!! Keep smiling those pretty smiles of yours and being wonderful parents/grandparents.
You’re all fighters and will continue to be forever. Stay strong and keep close as you’ll need each other’s shoulders to lean on in the future. To see the wonderful women you’ve grown up to be is a true delight and I know you’re in good hands with one another.
You are truly blessed.
Rest In Peace, Bob. Now you can watch the Broncos play from the mile high and beyond.
With love,
-Craig
