Obituary of Tyler Curtis Stewart
Please share a memory of Tyler to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Tyler Curtis Stewart passed away October 20, 2024, at the young age of 34 after a valiant battle with cancer. Born November 30, 1989, to Tammy Mietchen Jackson and Garry Wayne Stewart.
Tyler, a lover of all things outdoors, was the father to four beautiful children, three girls and one boy. His children were the reason he fought and what brought him a smile during the hardest of those days. His children, Mikaela (14), TJ (11), Kynlee (9), and Colt (5) were able to be with him in those final days and were what kept him happy. Their fondest memories will be the days spent camping, hiking, fishing, and simple afternoons in the park. Tyler spent the last weeks of his time here preparing mementos for them in the form of an audio message set to music and a blanket he learned to crochet for them.
Tyler was attending classes to earn his license as a journeyman electrician and was looking forward to completion next year. His goal was to provide a better life and future for his children.
Tyler was his mother’s greatest joy and she doted on him from the day he came into her world. Their bond is one that this can never be broken and carries on to this day and into the next world. While her heart is hurt, she is grateful for the peace he now has, removed from the pain.
Tyler is survived by his loving mother Tammy Jackson (Michael), father Gary Stewart (Jalayne), children Mikaela, TJ, Kynlee, and Colt. Siblings Colby, Brandon (Jamilyn), Mark, Cameron, Merissa as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tyler is preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Darlene Mietchen, and Connie and Wayne Steward
