Obituary of Wayne Fagg
Please share a memory of Wayne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Floyd Wayne Fagg Jr., known to all as Wayne, who left this world on August 16, 2024, at the age of 63 in Utah County, Utah.
Born on May 30, 1961, in Santa Monica, California, Wayne was the beloved son of Floyd Wayne Fagg and Ellen Mullville Fagg. He graduated from Provo High School in 1979 and went on to attend both Brigham Young University and the University of Utah.
Wayne dedicated his professional life to software sales, but his greatest calling was in serving others. From 1980 to 1982, he served a full-time LDS mission in the Peru Arequipa Mission, an experience that deepened his faith and love for humanity.
Wayne was a loving father to his children, Brittany, Jacob (Hailey), Allie (Mitchell), Ben, and Charli, and a proud grandfather to Ivar, Ingrid, Heppley, Weston, and Miller. He is also survived by his sister Diane Harrington, sister Pam Hansink, brother John Fagg, brother Mark Fagg, and his biological family: Rev. Stephen Karcher, Michael Karcher, Rev. John Karcher, and David Karcher. Wayne cherished his biological parents, Carol Anne Clayton and George Carlson Duvardo, who gave him the gift of life.
Wayne was a man of many passions. A devoted fan of BYU, he could often be found cheering on his cougars or engaging in spirited debates about history, politics, sports, cinema, and music. He also had a deep love for his community, serving as a commentator for West Forsyth Girls Lacrosse and contributing to his church.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 26th to honor the incredible life of Wayne.
In keeping with his wishes, Wayne will be cremated.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those who provided support and care. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Wayne will be remembered for his kindness, his infectious laugh, and the love he showered upon his family. He touched countless lives and was a friend to all who knew him. While we mourn his passing, we find peace in knowing that he is now in the arms of his loved ones in heaven, reunited with his biological family, his parents and siblings, Robert and Kathy, and his beloved grandson, Ivar.
