Loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, great great-grandma.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Phyllis Tiegen and Emil Allgier. Later adopted by Jesse and Blanche Briggs. Raised in Bountiful, Utah and graduated from Davis High School in 1953.
Married John P. Grant and had Seven Children. Later divorced and married Donald Steed (widowed). Married Robert Tripp (widowed). Survived by her sons Kevin Grant, Charles Grant, Clayton (Leticia) Grant, Mike (Christy) Grant. Daughters Karen Grant, Lesa (Shawn) Wassmer, Jennifer (Brett) Buttars. Niece Pattie (Nate) Hartinger. Many grandkids, great-grandkids, great great-grandkids.
Extended family Brian, Maureen and Kenneth Eddie (Dominic)
She enjoyed being with her church family, spending time with family, her music, puzzles, crossword puzzles, and angel figurines. She loved giving out an angel to anyone in need of one.
She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those that knew her. We would like to give a special thanks to all the staff and nurses at Hunter Hollow that took such great care of her for the last 4 years. Thank you to the hospice crew for your care and compassion.
Church Services and Celebration of Life for her will be held on June 14, 2024 at 5:00 pm at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church located at 2125 West 9000 South, West Jordan, Utah.
