It’s hard to condense a whole life of memories into a couple paragraphs. My dad was a big part of my life. When I was younger, I know my dad was always working hard but I so looked forward to Friday nights because I knew he would take time to play Hide and Seek in the dark, wrestle or goof around with us. I remember so many fun camping trips, boating, snowmobiling and roads trips. In between the fun there was A LOT of hard work. It seems like there was ALWAYS a project going and definitely a list of some kind, usually written on a napkin. I have learned so much from him over the years. I worked for him at his Mobile Home Park as a secretary and I learned the importance of being on time. He would say, “Don’t assume your time is worth more than someone else’s. Don’t be late!” You were available the hours that were posted. You do what you say your going to do.
He believed in me when I told him I wanted to open a shop. He encouraged me to make that leap. He helped me with my shop, moving furniture, fixing furniture and things for my shop, handing out numerous business cards and pens, telling people about my shop, the list is long. He would always say, “His buttons were bursting!” and I knew he was proud of me. I could always count on my mom and dad, no matter what! He helped me with so many projects around my house, finishing basements, laying tile, tearing up tile, huge deck projects, landscaping, plumbing and electrical. But he also helped me with smaller projects too. I would see something on Pinterest and show him. I’d say this shouldn’t be hard and he would look at me with a half-smile, roll his eyes and laugh. It usually was harder than I thought it would be but he’d always find a way to figure it out. There isn’t enough space to mention all the things he helped me with!
I was lucky to be able to help him sometimes too. We worked together redoing mobile homes and some things at their house, as well. I remember I was helping him with his foundation one day, we had moved and mixed over 2000 lbs. of concrete. At the end of the day, I told him how much we had moved and mixed and he said, “No wonder I’m a little tired!” That was only a little over three years ago.
At 80 he was helping me with a huge repair and remodel of my deck. Balancing on rafters and scaring me to death! It was very hard to outwork my dad!
I feel so lucky to have had a dad that loved me, was proud of me and stood by me. He taught me so many things! I’m grateful to have had him by my side for as long as I did. I will miss him so very much!!

It's hard to put into words what Tim meant to me over the 50 plus years that I was fortunate enough to know Tim. I was a very young boy when Tim and my Dad started their business together. But from the very first day Tim always treated me like a Son. Along with my dad they taught me the meaning of hard work and how it would pay off in my future. One of my fondest memories with Tim was the day we were pulling a 14'X70' Manufactured home from Price Ut. to Ogden. Overall were were over 90' in length. I was only 17 years old at the time, Tim pulled over after we went through the weigh station looked at me and said get over here your driving. I was freaking scared to death !! But he just said suck it up it's about time you learned. He gave me the confidence I needed to drive that all the way into Ogden without damaging anything along the way. Tim always gave me the confidence I needed to accomplish anything when it came to work . My Dad and Tim were two of the hardest workers I have ever known. Six or Seven days a week it didn't matter what ever it took to get the job done they did it . I loved Tim like a father because he always treated me like a son. I will always cherish all the times I was able to spend with Tim, he was one of the few men who could actually put up with me being a smartass on a day to day basis, but I'm sure that's because Tim loved me to. Love you Tim !!
