Please share a memory of LaFell to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
LaFell Robert Beel, Beloved husband, father, and grandfather peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on August 19, 2022.
Born October 21, 1928, in Ibapah, Utah to Ernest and Ethel Beel. Graduated high school in 1946 and earned an Associate’s Degree. Married to Donna Meng for nearly 60 years. LaFell lovingly took care of her until her death. He married Toni Beel on November 4, 2017.
Baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on July 4, 1959. He lived a faithful life course for nearly 70 years and will be rewarded by our loving God, Jehovah.
He was compassionate, kind, and generous to all those he knew. He worked hard at everything he did. He had the greatest sense of humor and loved to crack jokes. His cute little chuckle afterward is indelibly marked on the hearts of those who knew him well. His devotion to Jehovah and what he believed in was evident in his life course. He was deeply loved by all.
He led a successful career as an Instrumentation Tech for Kennecott Copper Mine for 35 years. There wasn't anything you would ask LaFell about that he wasn't able figure out how to fix.
He found much comfort in the Bible's promise at Revelation 21:4 where the time will come when there is no more sickness, sorrow, pain, or death. What he most looked forward to in the promised new world was to be able to help in the reconstruction work of making the earth a paradise as God has purposed and being able to help other resurrected ones learn about Jehovah's wonderful promises for all mankind. We all look forward to welcoming him back in that promised paradise.
Preceded in death by his first wife Donna, his father and mother, siblings John, Irene, Darrell, and LaRue, and his stepchildren Gregg Asbury and Steven Asbury.
Survived by his beloved wife Toni, son Brad, stepdaughters Christie (Jeff) Richardson, Brandy (Saul) Garcia, and 5 grandchildren, Dallon, Morgan, Logan, McKenna, and Nicholas.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the very caring staff at Horizon Hospice, Dr. Russell Anderson, and his dedicated nurses Amy, AJ, and Brenda. We are so grateful for their genuine care and kindness that was provided during his final weeks.
Memorial Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 1:30pm. 6148 South 4590 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84118.
Zoom information will be provided for those who are unable to attend in person.
