The best childhood memories of you were in Colorado. I remember your red shag carpet. Lance, Brandi, and I would pretend it was hot lava. We'd jump on the furniture trying to avoid falling in.
You made the best-fried egg sandwiches along with spam sandwiches. My favorite thing you made though was chicken and dumplings. I've tried to replicate it many times, but it never turned out like yours.
Nana, you are the most amazing woman hence why you raised one, my mother, Teresa. You will be greatly missed. I am happy you're at peace now with Grandpa Gene, Richie, and Tommy. Im sure you all are throwing a huge party in heaven. I love you. Thank you for all that you have taught me.

I would always laugh when she told me how I learned to walk...... there was no walking straight to running, everywhere... she would still to this day think I was gonna 'Break your darn neck'. Fast forward to 2011, she would call and check up on me during the next 2 years. I'm going to remember and use all her words of encouragement she passed on, and pass it down to my own kiddos. Love you and miss you.

Dear Terry and all Aunt Shirley's Family,
I am so sorry for your loss of such a great LADY .
Its so hard to believe that Aunt Shirley has left so soon. I know that she is with the best of the best in Heaven, I will miss all our Face Book Chats at night , and us playing to see who could send the cutest emojis ,,, and the most. she was a very sweet and special person. We always laughed when we would talk about the day ,, THE DAY I was staying with Aunt Shirley and they were digging a big hole out in the yard ,,, Aunt Sherley was pregnant with Terry ,,,, Very Pregnant ,, I fell in the (to me) very big hole , all she could do was,, that right laugh ,,, there was a mouse in the hole with me,,,,,, she said she did not know who was more scared me or the mouse. I was trying to climb out one side and the mouse the other side,,,
Aunt Shirley ,, I love you and will miss you . RIP,,, your niece Judy and Walt Gregg

I remember countless summers at Gene and Shirleys house. Spending hours ans hours in the basement hanging out all summer with the grandkids. It was the highlight of my summers when they came to spend time in Colorado. Loved eating her spam and top ramen lunches while her and Gene worked on puzzles and studied the word at the kitchen table. Late nights on Green Ct playin kick the can and hide and seek in the neighborhood. Hanging out with Ritchie, Diana, Annie, Bill and me till all hours of the night. Having deep discussions about the rapture and prayer and any other topic we wanted. Always giving advice and helping where possible. Loved them like my own grandparents and will miss Shirley tremendously.

She always had a word of encouragement, she was always there when needed. I will never forget our many conversations at the kitchen table ,how she shared her words of encouragement and support. Very few people in your life touch you in a way you will never forget. She is one of the few one of the rare and I will not forget that. She is now in a better place and someday we will sit at that kitchen table again.
