Obituary of Irving Hunsaker

Magna, UT – Irving Hunsaker, 37. Our amazing brother, son and uncle passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 in West Valley City, UT. He was born April 5, 1983 in Murray, UT to Dale and Susanne Hunsaker. He was the seventh of nine children. He grew up in West Jordan, UT and attended West Jordan High School where he graduated in 2001. He was an avid soccer player since the age of 5 and continued to play on multiple teams and multiple leagues year after year in order to get as much soccer time in as possible. He loved the outdoors and would go camping and hunting any chance he could. He was always the first to volunteer to help retrieve a harvested animal, no matter where it was. Boating and water sports were another passion of his and he could guarantee a good show with lots of air every time! He loved to go on rides on his bullet bike with family and friends. Building and restoring classic Jeeps was something he did on the side and he always took pride in his work. He was the favorite brother and uncle in the family and will be missed beyond words. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale (2004). Survived by his mother, Susanne; his siblings Don (Heidi) Hunsaker of Thornton, CO; Tammy (Dale) Kluge of West Jordan, UT; April (Brett) Farris of Woods Cross, UT; Larry Hunsaker of Tooele, UT; Rod (Sara) Hunsaker of Springville, UT; Ryan Hunsaker of West Jordan, UT; Spencer (Shianne) Hunsaker of South Weber, UT; Amber (Kenyon) Cook of West Jordan, UT; 21 nieces and nephews; 2 furry children Nakita and Turbo. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 10:00 am at Murray Park Pavilion 4, 406 E Vine Street Murray, UT. There will be limited seating provided and encourage you to bring a chair or blanket if you would like. The family will be available to visit prior to and following the service. To follow current Covid-19 guidelines masks are encouraged. In lieu of flowers a GoFundMe account in Irving's name has been set up to help take care of his remaining obligations.
