Please share a memory of Stephen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Salt Lake City—Stephen John Crory, 53, passed Oct. 18 at his home in Salt Lake.
A former longtime Hanover resident, he graduated Hanover High in 1981, where he competed on the soccer, ski and basketball teams. He attended Keene State College.
An engaging guy, he enjoyed his many close friends and was kind to people he had only just met. He was a good coach and great with kids. In Salt Lake, he volunteered regularly.
He was a professional ski racer, independent contractor, avid fisherman and golfer. He enjoyed many exciting life’s experiences—including sailing with the crew filming Waterworld in Hawaii. He enjoyed creating and sharing a fine meal, the more the merrier. His family continues to learn how many have their own Steve Crory story.
Stephen was predeceased by his father Frederick Edwin, and mother, Elizabeth Lupien Crory. He is survived by brothers Thomas (Sandy), David and Edward (Sabine) Crory and sisters Ellen (Chris) Forkas, and Ann (Ted) Thompson; nephews Quinten, Tyler, TJ; and nieces Christine, Allison, and Kimby.
A private graveside service will be held at the Pine Knoll Cemetery in Hanover, NH. A Celebration of Life is planned for 1:00-5:00 PM, Saturday, November 12th at the Dartmouth Skiway Lodge in Lyme.
