Son of Ruth and Grayden Melton
Jack graduated from South High School. Joined US Army in 1952 and served in Korean War. Released in 1960.
Jack enjoyed baseball, riding bikes, and fishing as a youngster. Took up racquetball and golf later on. Enjoyed gardening as well. Worked for Lake City International Trucks most of his career.

Sisters: Kay Andersen; Sherie and Fabrizio Stortoni
Children: Steven and Merrilee Melton, Christine and Eric Halford, Michael and Carol Hansen, Catherine Jeffs
