This is my beautiful grandma. She was the most amazing woman I've ever known. She was caring, loving and have the best sense of humor a grandma could ever have. I spent each and every day with her even before she got sick. We laughed constantly. I guess we gossiped a little too LOL but isn't that what Grandma's do? LOL Grandma you took a part of me when you left. When I hug you and kiss your beautiful forehead as you lay there very still looking peaceful I knew that my life would never be the same. But Grandma I'm going to make you happy just what you wanted me to do. I'm going to go through with being a substance abuse counselor and I'm going to be successful. I am going to continue to shout out to my wonderful God whose arms are embracing you right at this moment. I can just see you up there with Mom and Dad and Grandpa and the rest of your family hugging and loving and discussing memories from the past life. You have all entered into a wonderful Paradise to where I know I will be with you when it's my time to go. I'm going to miss you more than you'll ever know. I keep going to grab my phone to call you and a harsh reality sets in that I can't call you anymore. I know for the rest of my life I'm going to have these days of sadness and these days of loss but I am not going to allow them to flip my life around again. I am going to stay focused and I'm going to praise my wonderful God for taking you into his arms. I wish I could ask you what Paradise looks like I Can Only Imagine. But remember Grandma our talk about Paradise? It was only 3 weeks ago that we were talking about death and I kept telling you I'm not ready for you to go yet. I knew I would never be ready. But here we are in the harsh reality that we are here on this Earth and we will leave this earth there's no other way. So just know I had the most wonderful grandma in the world and no one will ever take her place. Ever. You taught me so much about life and how happiness can be in place if we choose it. So I will not live in sadness grandma I will choose happiness and make you and Mom proud of me every step of the way until I come to see you
