Obituary of Drew Tyler Beasley
Drew Tyler Beasley was born May 30, 1997 to MeLinda Beasley Northrup. He came into this world prematurely weighing only 2lbs 10oz. He was a fighter until he couldn't fight anymore. He took his own life on January 8,2018. I hope he is finally at peace and happy. Drew loved archery, guns, going to gun shows and gaming. He loved spending time with his siblings and his niece and nephew. He was extremely loyal to his friends and very generous. Always willing to help people. He was employed at Loomis in the coin area. He was so strong he could carry the 90lbs bags with ease. He'd always tease me when I asked him to pick up something up that was too heavy for me to lift, that it was nothing and I was a woos. He loved animals. He had to quit his job at the Humane Society because he couldn't stand watching animals be put down. He was extremely shy so often he would come across as gruff. But once you got to know him, he was hilarious and a great conversationalist. Drew we will never know what happened that day to make you decide to leave us. We were in such a good place right now. You were happy, laughing and joking with us more than ever. I know you had negative thoughts about yourself, but we were always able to talk them through. Why didn't you talk to me baby? You were so proud of your car and your computer you had built. We were going together to get therapeutic massages next week. You were looking forward to Sami and Zach's wedding. You had such plans for the future and were always talking about what you were going to do. I'm so sorry you felt the pain was too much and you needed to go.
Drew is survived by his mother and step father Steve Northrup. Steve you will never know how much Drew looked up to you and loved you. You were and are his dad! His second mom Robin Yaw, who was with him every day through his NICU stay and the first few years of his life and continued to be in his life and supportive. By his sister and brother-in-law Madysen and Curtis Harris. His niece and nephew Scarlett and Nolan. By his brother, Brandon Northrup, his sister Samantha Northrup and soon to be brother-in-law Zach Matthews. He is survived by his uncles, Adam Beasley and Craig Scoggins, his aunts Laurie Martinez, Paige Beasley, Heather Beasley, and cousins, TJ, Cody, Rachel, Bridget, Sydney and Macy. Also survived by a grandmother, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins on the Northrup side. He will be missed by his beloved cat Domino and our dogs. All our pets loved him and couldn't wait to see him when he got home from work. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, his twin sister and his beloved big brother Neal Beasley.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Independent Professional Services, 4555 south Redwood Road at 2:00pm on Saturday January 13, 2018.
Drew I will miss your laughing face, how you would laugh at our dirty jokes, our private conversations, your helping me with laundry and how you always cleaned up Domino's "presents", even if some of them were still alive. So as I said to you every night of your life, remember to be careful, I love you, Good night!!
