I'm so glad that I had the opportunity of attending Aunt Markey's funeral today, and seeing all of the family again. I always loved being with Aunt Markey - her humor and positive spirit were contagious! She and my father were always close, and I remember Dad spending time staying in touch with her, and laughing at her stories. I'm glad that we had the opportunity for several years to meet up with her and Julie at the Shakespeare Festival and visit. I'm going to miss her, and feel that Dad was there to greet her as she passed. Hope to see your family each year at the family party!
Love,
Craig

I remember Margaret always coming over and having her hair done by my mother (Peggy Odell). She always had wonderful treats, amazing stories and would share her passion for classic movies with me. She was a sweet woman and the world will not be the same without her, but I know she will be watching over all she loved.

I first met Margaret when I start teaching school in Shelley. She was a remarkable women with a great command of the English Language. There were times when individuals didn't know if she was paying them a compliment or pointing out their imperfections, agreeing with or disagreeing with them. She had a fun personality with a funny story to contribute to any conversation. She will be missed.

Margaret reached out to me at a time when I needed help and let me and my kids and dogs stay with her after my divorce. She got us through it and helped us all emotionally. We all LOVED her. She was quite a woman!

I was sorry to her of the passing of our dear Margaret. Margaret was my mom Helen Harker's friend. My mom always spoke of "dear Margaret". Even though I never had Margaret in school I read many book that she recommended. Margaret was always interested in what was going on with our family. Because my mom Helen was home bound for a number of years Margaret made sure to visit and call often. Margaret was an example to me of someone who was kind, caring and nurturing. I know she touched the lives of so many. She will be missed.

Margaret was a fun, dear unique sister. I attribute my love and passion of children's literature to the many recesses I spent helping in the Hazel Stuart Library with that fantastic pit. She had such a dry sense of humor that she shared with 12 year olds that endured so many of us to her. She didn't talk down to us. Sister Hansen was a member of my ward and a dear friend of my parents, she would often attend concerts and civic cultural events with us. She was a lovely woman.

Margaret Hansen was my fourth grade teacher and the neighbor down the street for most of my youth. I loved your mom and remember her excitement with reading. I remember that in her class we always counted the train cars as they came by. I loved your big Lilac bush and remember when Wayne came home from his mission. I am so sorry for your loss, and greatly appreciate the part your mom had in my life.

So sorry for your loss. Your mother was an incredible person! She was my mothers "Joann Fife" best friend. She taught me to love reading when I was in the fourth grade which I had hated to that point in my life she was our librarian and always found the perfect books for me to read. My mother loved her very much and they shared many fond moments together sewing, chatting and doing charity work for others. She will be greatly missed. I hope you can all remember your happy memories and go on living happy full lives that she wanted for each and everyone of you. I feel as if I know all of you from all the stories she would tell. I wish you all the best! Love Rhonda Fife Johnson
