Obituary of David Lee Howard
David Lee Howard, 52, Herriman, UT, son, brother, uncle and dear friend. Our "Mr D" or "Daveman" passed away on August 25, 2017 after an amazing fight with Metastatic Melanoma. David was born in Murray, UT on August 2, 1965 to the parents of Raymond V and Alice B Howard. He grew up in Sandy, UT and graduated from Alta High School in 1983. He was a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker Local 312 for many years. He enjoyed golf, camping, fishing, a good joke, watching the history & discovery channels and doing anything that involved his family and his awesome group of friends. He had a Great Love for the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees. He was able to finally fulfill a long time dream and travel to Dallas and New York to personally cheer them on.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Alice B Howard. Survived by his father, Raymond V Howard; brother, Michael (Pamela) Howard, sister, Leslie H Anglin; four nieces and two nephews: Tori "T-ray" (Zach) Foote, Dillon "DJ" Anglin, Sarah Howard, Casey "CJ" Anglin, Emily Howard, along with many other family members and special friends.
His family would like to say Thank You to Dr. Justin Call and his caring staff at UCS.
It was always his wish to forego a formal funeral service and have his body cremated. He never wanted his family and friends to grieve, instead he wanted them to celebrate the time they shared together. A wake will be held in his memory at a later date for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks instead that everyone make the time to visit a Dermatologist for a checkup or make a donation to a Cancer Organization of your choice.
