Jake Martinez, 65, passed away peacefully on Friday March 10, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mesa De Poleo, New Mexico on October 26, 1951 to Delphin Martinez and Ercilia Herrera. Jake lived life to the fullest; He loved fishing, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his mother Ercilia Rose Edwards; Children: John Martinez, Constance Montoya (Terry), Felicia Kinder (Paul), Marsha Parades (Tim). Siblings: Lorraine, Del, Janie, Steve Martinez and his special love Holli Thurman. He was preceded in death by his father Delphin Martinez; Brothers Pete and Hermin Martinez, great nephew Jesse Marquez and special angel Lisa Martinez. He had 25 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank IHC (Intensive Coronary Care Unit -ICCU) for the wonderful services they provided. Services will be held Saturday March 18, 2017 @ 1:00 pm at the Murray Ward Chapel, 6410 S 725E Murray UT followed by a luncheon to celebrate his life at the FOE 10 West 4th Ave State & Vine Street, Murray UT.
