**In Loving Memory of Jack Steven Oskins**
Jack Steven Oskins, 71, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born on April 16, 1953, Jack's life was one of passion, adventure, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear.
Jack was a true nature enthusiast. Whether hiking through forests, fishing by serene lakes, camping with his family, hunting, or taking leisurely after-dinner walks with his loved ones, Jack found joy and tranquility in the embrace of the great outdoors. He felt truly alive when scaling mountains or casting a line, forever drawn to nature's beauty.
Yet, beyond his love for adventure, Jack was a devoted husband, a wonderful father, and an adoring Papa. His grandchildren, Zachary, Jude, Addison, and Sawyer, were the shining lights of his life.
Jack cherished every moment spent with them, imparting wisdom, sharing captivating stories, and creating memories that will be treasured for generations. He delighted in nurturing their love of nature, ensuring his legacy thrives in their adventurous spirits.
Jack's love for his wife Shar was a beacon of enduring partnership, as she cared for him relentlessly over the past 8 years. Recently celebrating 46 years of marriage, their story is one of steadfast support and unwavering love, inspiring all who had the privilege to witness it.
His ability to overcome obstacles showed his strong will, and was predominantly for the love of his family, which made him push forward for the past 8 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife Shar; his children, Jennifer (Jeremy), Katherine (Aaron), and Chris; and his cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Jude, Addison, and Sawyer. While Jack may no longer walk among us, his spirit endures in the invaluable lessons he imparted, the boundless love he showed, and the adventurous spark he ignited within us all.
A private celebration of Jack's life will be held with immediate family at a later date, a time to honor the remarkable man he was and the indelible mark he left on our hearts.
Papa, you will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Your legacy of love, adventure, and family lives on in all who had the honor of knowing you.
We love you so much.
